Friday, Feb. 6

10-11:30 a.m. – Kinder Gym Fridays at the South Park Recreational Center for ages six months to five years old. Open gym and tumbling. Parent or guardian supervision is required. Free with membership or drop in for $6.

1 p.m. Knitting group at the Bailey Community Center. Take your needles and join the fun, learning and socializing. Call 720-385-8300 for more information.

3-6 p.m. – Cuts for Vets, free haircuts for veterans at the Fairplay American Legion, 601 Clark St.

Saturday, February 7

11 a.m. to noon – Far View Horse Rescue and Rehabilitation open house.

10 a.m. to noon – Origami Valentine Heart Workshop at the Fairplay Library. 719- 836-4297

11 a.m. to 5 p.m. – Valentine’s Market at the historic Glen Isle Resort, 573 Old Stagecoach Road in Bailey. Arts, crafts, jewelry, edible treats and mountain folk ambience will be available. Vendors may contact Anastasia at 720-898-0823.

Noon-2 p.m. – Paper roses workshop. Create timeless book page roses as a meaningful, hands-on gift for a loved on before Valentine’s Day at the Fairplay Library. For people 12 years old and older.

5-7 p.m. – Hartsel Library Valentine’s Dinner. Mexican cuisine with a taco bar, chili and dessert bar for $20 per person. At the Hartsel Fire Station Conference Room. Games and Door prizes. Reservations must be made by Feb. 4. Call 303-520-5726 or leave a message at 719-836- 2745.

9:30 a.m. – Bailey Patchworkers at 4945 CR 64, Bailey. Free sewing starts at 9:30 a.m. and the business meeting is at 12:30 p.m.

5 p.m. – Aurora Water Wild Horse Reservoir Project and accompanying 1041 process discussion in the Fairplay Administration building in the commissioner board room.

6:30 p.m. – Fairplay AA meeting at South Park Community Church, 300 Sixth St. Fairplay.

9:30 a.m. Storytime at Fairplay Library, 400 Front Street.

10 a.m.-2 p.m. – Stride Mobile Healthcare Clinic at the Bailey Library, 350 Bulldogger Road.

4:30-5:30 p.m. TOPS meeting at South Park Recreation Center.

5-8 p.m. Campfire nights at Glenn Isle Resort with Randall McKinnon at 573 Old Stagecoach Road, Bailey.

Wednesday, February 11

11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Rocky Mountain Rural Health Outreach at the Lake George Public Library, 37900 U.S. 24.

12:15 p.m. Mobile Food Share at the Rainbow Roundup Trout Ranch, 32234 Fishpond Way in Pine.

1:15 p.m. – Mobile Food Share at the Bailey Community Center, 83 Main in Bailey.

1-6 p.m. – Park County Board of Commissioners will meet for work session and regular meeting at county offices, 856 Castello Avenue. Work session is from 1-3 p.m. Regular meeting is from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m.

2:15 p.m. Mobile Food Share at the Bailey Library, 350 Bulldogger Road in Bailey.

4 p.m. – Craft and Chat for people ages 18 years and older at Fairplay Library, 400 Front Street. Supplies not provided so take a work in progress and “your friendly spirit.”

Friday, February 27

6-8 p.m. – Evergreen Augubon and Mountain Area Land Trust present a nocturnal predator program featuring an evening of dissecting owl pellets and learning about these incredible birds of prey before healing out for a short walk to try and find one. Fun for the whole family. Free. At the Sacramento Creek Ranch, 2234 Busch Run, Fairplay. Registration requested at SaveTheLand.org/events.

Saturday, March 7

4 p.m. – Boots & BBQ Bash, fundraiser for the Chances Scholarship Fund, at Tomahawk Ranch 2113 County Road 32, in Bailey. Food, music, cash bar and live auction.
