Litter Bug Patrol

Litter Bug Patrol is an organized group of Indian Mountain residents who keep our shared roads clear of litter to insure we all enjoy the beauty of nature and the magical lands of the high valley we call home.  Our neighborhood streets, especially the main throughfares in-and-out of Indian Mountain have become increasingly full of irresponsibly discarded trash.  Similar to adopt a mile, volunteer residents/family sponsors a section of road and maintains it’s litter collection.

Currently, Litter Bug Patrol is made up of 22 Indian Mountain families, 18 roads, 26 sections, and over 23 miles of clean roads!!!

Litter Bug Patrol is year long program, weather permitting, with a focus on summer months collections between May and October.

If you would like to adopt a section of our shared roads for litter pickup, please email Litter Bug Patrol’s lead committee member, Jannene Sherrill at: jksherrill263@gmail.com

See you on the streets!
