IMPOA hosts a yearly roadside trash pick up event on Elkhorn Rd. from Highway 285 to the fire station and then from the fire station down Highway 32 ( a.k.a. Albino rd.) to the entrance of Indian Mountain (the cattle gate). Volunteers needed to spend a few hours supporting our trash pick up efforts. Each volunteer is responsible for a mile or less of roadside collection.
IMPOA provides drinks, high-vis worker vests, and a BBQ lunch. Volunteers will need to bring their own gloves, hats, and sunscreen. Park County Road and Bridge drops “men working” signs to notify vehicles for safety. Volunteers meet at the Community Center on July 27th at 9:30a.m. for a brief meeting and organized plan.
We look forward to a handful of hardy volunteers who don’t mind walking a mile with their neighbors and/or volunteers to drive vehicles beside the trash collectors. Please signup through link below!
