Friday, September 26

10-11:30 a.m. – Kinder Gym Fridays at the South Park Recreational Center for ages six months to five years old. Open gym and tumbling. Parent or guardian supervision is required. Free with membership or drop in for $6.

Noon-3 p.m. – Aurora Water Wild Horse Reservoir lunch and learn at Zuccaro’s Kitchen, 12787 U.S. 24 Hartsel.

5:30-6:30 p.m. – Platte Canyon High School homecoming parade and bonfire pep-rally.

Saturday, September 27

9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. – Como Roundhouse Fall Colors open house at the Como roundhouse hosted by the South Park Rail Society.

11 a.m. to noon – Far View Horse Rescue and Rehabilitation open house.

1 p.m. – Platte Canyon High School football vs. Colo. Springs Christian School at home.

2-5 p.m. – Mosquito Range Heritage Initiative Fall Foliage Hike at Beaver Creek Main Trailhead. Take your favorite hiking necessities, snacks, lunch, sensible shoes, water and layered clothing.

5-9 p.m. – Gold Rush Fever at the historic Glen-Isle Resort, LLC, fundraiser by the Seniors Alliance of Platte Canyon for the benefit of seniors in the Platte Canyon area. Tickets are $55 or two for $100 includes Roaming Buffalo BBQ dinner, dance and live music, silent and live auctions.

Monday, September 29

6 p.m. – Town of Fairplay Board of Trustees regular meeting at town hall board room, 901 Main St. Fairplay.

6:30 p.m. – Fairplay AA meeting at South Park Community Church, 300 Sixth St. Fairplay.

Tuesday, September 30

9:30 a.m. – Storytime at Fairplay Library, 400 Front Street.

10 a.m.-2 p.m. – Stride Mobile Healthcare Clinic at the Bailey Library, 350 Bulldogger Road.

5-8 p.m. – Campfire nights at Glenn Isle Resort with Randall McKinnon at 573 Old Stagecoach Road, Bailey.

Wednesday, October 1

9:30 a.m. – Storytime at Fairplay Library, 400 Front Street.

11 a.m. to 2 p.m. – Rocky Mountain Rural Health Outreach at Park County Fairplay Branch Library, 400 Front St. Fairplay.

12:15 p.m. – Mobile Food Share at the Rainbow Roundup Trout Ranch, 32234 Fishpond Way in Pine.

1-6 p.m. – Park County Board of Commissioners will meet for work session and regular meeting at county offices, 856 Castello Avenue. Work session is from 1-3 p.m. Regular meeting is from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m.

1:15 p.m. – Mobile Food Share at the Bailey Community Center, 83 Main in Bailey.

2:15 p.m. Mobile Food Share at the Bailey Library, 350 Bulldogger Road in Bailey.

5 p.m. – Platte Canyon High School volleyball vs. Arvada at home.

6:30-7:30 p.m. – Fairplay AA meeting at South Park Christian Chapel, 385 Ninth St. Fairplay.

Friday, October 3

9 a.m.-3 p.m. – Free Legal Resource Day featuring clinics with info on various topics and ask-an-attorney private consultations at the Park County Courthouse, 300 Fourth St., Fairplay.

1 p.m. – Knitting group at the Bailey Community Center. Take your needles and join the fun, learning and socializing. Call 720-385-8300 for more information.

3-6 p.m. – Cuts for Vets, free haircuts for veterans at the Fairplay American Legion, 601 Clark St.

4-8 p.m. – Fourth Annual Fall Festival: Pumpkin patch and decorating, games, historical buildings stories, trick-or-treat, cocoa in the caboose and more. Free event in McGraw Park in Rustic Square behind Off the Rails Coffee.
