This July 4th is more than a holiday of celebration and familiar tunes—it is a rare turning of the calendar that invites us to look back with gratitude at the sacrifices\, struggles\, and achievements that shaped our country\, and forward with renewed commitment to the responsibilities we share as neighbors\, families\, and citizens.  \nAs members of the Indian Mountain community\, we know the value of coming together—of shared meals\, shared stories\, and shared pride in where we live—and this anniversary offers a meaningful chance to do just that in the spirit of unity that has carried the nation across centuries of challenge and change.  \nMore details to come in the following days. If a spot opens up\, you will be notified immediately. \nSign Up Here: https://forms.gle/EqJVb61nXCoM91H59 \nRemember\, You MUST be a paid IMPOA/IMCA member to participate in Chipping Days.  \nIf you want to be placed on the Wait List for Chipping Days\, but are not currently an IMPOA/IMCA member\, you can go to the link below to join! \nMembership is only $45.00 per year! \nJoin Here: https://impoa.net/product/impoa-membership/ \nTo participate in the Indian Mountain Chipping Days\, the following requirements must be adhered to: \n\nWood must be neatly stacked with the butt end of the trees facing the same direction. \nTrees must be less than 9″ in diameter. \nFelled trees and all wood to be chipped will be stacked along the roadways for easy access. \nAll chippings will be broadcast back onto your property. \n\nIMPORTANT RESTRICTIONS  \nEnsure your wood does not have any of the following:  \n\nRoot balls \nConstruction materials \nTreated wood \nNails\, screws\, or any metal \n\nInspect all wood carefully before putting it out for chipping!  \nCONSEQUENCES of VIOLATIONS  \nIf prohibited items (nails\, screws\, metal\, construction materials\, etc.) are found in your wood:  \n\nChipping work will stop immediately on your property. Photographs will be taken. \nYou will be removed from the current chipping program. \nYou may also be disqualified from future chipping services. \n\nSAFETY & LIABILITY NOTICE  \nMetal\, nails\, screws\, or construction materials can cause serious damage to the chipping equipment and poses a significant safety risk to the crew. If prohibited items cause damage to equipment or injury to a worker\, the property owner will be held financially liable for all repair costs and related expenses.  \nPLEASE – Inspect all wood carefully before putting it out to be chipped!  \n Questions? DESCRIPTION:IMCA DUMPSTER DAY 2026\nAugust 15 @ 8:00 am – 3:00 pm\nMultiple large dumpsters are placed outside the Community Center. We ask that you please read the below requirements so we can make best use of the dumpster and provide the needed convenience for all of our neighbors. Use of dumpsters is for current IMPOA/IMCA members. If you are not sure if you are an active member\, we can also check records during the event to determine your status. If you are not in our 2026 membership list\, you’ll need to pay the $45 annual dues before utilizing the dumpsters. \nTHE FOLLOWING WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED: \n\nNo hazardous chemicals\, wet paint\, oils\, automobile fluids\nNo Mattresses\nNo refrigerators/freezers with freon\nNo household kitchen waste/garbage\nNo yard waste (slash\, trees\, or limbs should go to the burn pit)\n\nLarge items like a couch\, or dresser\, need to be broken down into small flat pieces. Bulky items take up considerable space in the dumpsters and we want to make sure we have room for everything. If it rains before or during our event\, the recommendation is to have your load covered and kept dry. Wet\, soggy heavy items are challenging to move. \nWE DO ACCEPT: \n\nOld Electronics\, computers\, laptops!  Our Contractor this year will accept electronics\, laptops etc.!!\nMetal Scrap – We will have a spot to drop off your metal scrap.\nFor questions you can email impoa.bod@gmail.com please use “Dumpster Day” in your subject line.\n\n\nTIMES: 8:00AM to 3:00PM\n
